Support your Local Scene

If your scene involves drinking coffee, riding bikes, and knitting, you're golden.

Here you go

Breakaway Bikes
SuperSale: March 28, 29, 30, 31, and April 1. Hours: Wednesday through Friday 9-8; Saturday 9-5; Sunday 12-5. Sale on all bicycles in stock or ordered during SuperSale. Lots of accessories and clothing at great prices.

If you go to the website, it now lists all the bikes and prices. We got Cy a bike there yesterday, presale. Ok, it was on sale already, and it was a beautiful day, and those guys are super nice.

Whistle Stop Coffee Shop
There is an awesome new coffee shop in Schoolcraft.
It's right on 131 in the old Oak Creations building.

Whistle Stop Coffee Shop
106 S. Grand St
Schoolcraft, MI

M-Sat 6:30am-9 pm
Sun I know they are open, not sure of times
Baked goods are from the Victorian Bakery. Best carrot cake ever.

They do use styrofoam cups, which I frown upon, so does the planet. So, unless you have the means to recycle that styrofoam cup, I suggest you bring your own. I don't know how the owners are going to feel about that suggestion, but it's what I am going to do next time I go.

The building is also going to have a Harry Potter themed book store, a health food store and more. It's a co-op of cool things.
